Organization

The Organization section covers your subscription, usage, and team management.

Plans & Credits

Manage your subscription, monitor credit usage, and handle billing:

  • Account Overview: Current plan, credit balance, and usage summary
  • Credit Management: Purchase additional credits as needed
  • Payment Methods: Manage cards and billing information
  • Plan Switching: Upgrade or change subscription plans
  • Auto Top-up: Automatically purchase credits when your balance gets low

Auto Top-up

Set up automatic credit purchases so your workflow is never interrupted:

  • Minimum Balance: The threshold that triggers a purchase
  • Purchase Amount: How many credits to buy when triggered
  • Daily Limit: Maximum spend per day — protects against unexpected charges

Recommended: Set minimum balance to 2–3× your typical daily usage. Set daily limit conservatively.

Usage & History

Monitor your BB usage patterns and spending:

  • Usage Analytics: Track spending, requests, and token usage
  • Time-based Filtering: View usage by day, week, or month
  • Model Breakdown: See which models you use most and their costs
  • Trends: Understand your usage patterns over time

Members & Teams

Manage who belongs to your organisation and how they're grouped into teams. The team owner controls membership and team settings.

Coming soon. Team membership management is currently in development. To add team members now, contact us and we'll onboard your team.

Workspace

The Workspace section sets defaults that apply to all projects in your workspace — unless a project overrides them.

General — Project Settings

The General tab inside Workspace has three sub-tabs:

General

  • Your Name: How BB refers to you in collaborations
  • Assistant's Name: What BB calls itself
  • Maximum Turns: Limits tool usage to prevent runaway loops
  • Extended Thinking: Shows BB's step-by-step reasoning process
  • Thinking Budget: Tokens allocated for reasoning

Models

Set the default AI models BB uses for different roles. BB uses three model roles to balance performance and cost:

  • 🎯 Orchestrator: The main brain — coordinates work, delegates tasks, handles complex reasoning
  • ⚡ Agent: Executes specific tasks — focused on tool use and implementation
  • 🔧 Admin: Handles administrative tasks like generating titles and summaries

When choosing models, the key factors are Speed, Cost, and Intelligence. BB offers pre-configured combinations (Balanced Performance, Cost Optimised, Maximum Intelligence, Speed Optimised) as a starting point.

Tools

Control which tools are available to BB across all projects by default. Individual projects can override these workspace defaults.

  • Select tool sets (core, editing, coding, research, etc.)
  • Create custom tool combinations from built-in sets and MCP servers
  • Configure individual tool behaviours with YAML

Memory Settings

Set the default scope for new memories. Memories are always read from all scopes — this setting controls where new ones are written by default.

  • Workspace (Shared across your workspace): Visible to all team members — good for team conventions and shared context
  • Project (Default): Available to all collaborations within a project — good for project-specific decisions
  • Collaboration: Specific to one conversation only

Recommended: Keep the default set to Project for most workflows.

MCP Servers

Configure connections to external tools and services. MCP servers extend what BB can do — integrating with databases, APIs, development tools, and specialised services.

Context Management

Configure how BB automatically manages context when collaborations grow long. When enabled, BB intelligently preserves important information while archiving older context.

Projects

The Projects section is the Project Manager — create, import, edit, and delete your projects from here. This was previously accessible from the top-level sidebar; it now lives in Settings.

  • Audio Notifications: Play sounds when BB finishes processing
  • Browser Notifications: System notifications, even when BB is in the background
  • Visual Indicators: Update browser tab title and favicon
  • Custom Audio: Use your own notification sounds

Privacy

Control privacy and data handling preferences for your account.
